KidChart
Solo Project | October - November 2025
A mobile healthcare application designed for parents and guardians of young children that allows them to easily manage their children's health records, immunizations, test results, and appointments in one place. Conducted background research and competitive analysis to identify existing usability pain points in healthcare applications. Developed personas, user flows, wireframes, Hi-Fi and Lo-Fi prototypes to improve clarity and reduce anxiety felt when using healthcare applications. Created solutions based on user feedback and iterative designs.
Apple Mail Redesign
Solo Project | October 2025
Analyzed Apple's Mail app to uncover usability pain points that included elements involving inbox density, hidden categories, and unclear folder creation. Through exploration and wireframing in Figma, did a complete redesign of core UI elements. Redesign includes improved spacing controls, always-visible category navigation, and clearer folder creation. The result is a clean, intuitive, inbox layout that supports usability, readability, and efficiency without a cluttered page.
ViBe-DRS
Undergraduate Research Project | 2021-2022
A project involving the development and improvement of ViBe-DRS, a dual RNA sequencing web application. This project was worked on over the course of 2 years with 2 separate teams, with me being the lead researcher for both. The project's goal was to create an easy to use, intuitive, and clear application for viewing results of dual RNA sequencing in the form of heat maps, plots, and more graphing visualizations. Conducted usability studies, heuristic evaluations, surveys to implement UI changes based on the feedback received.
