My name is Maherah Muqri, and I'm a recent graduate from Furman University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Welcome to Made by Maherah! On this site, I showcase various case studies that I've worked on. Each one is unique and shows off my skills as a UX Researcher and Designer. Hope you enjoy your time here!
My Story
During my time at Furman University, I was taught logical, practical solutions to problems and the theory behind development and technology. I took the typical CS courses, but found myself enjoying my research more than any coursework I was doing. My undergraduate research introduced me to the world of UI/UX and HCD (Human Centered Design), and long story short, I fell in love! I started taking more courses involving design, learning Figma, React.js, and more skills, and slowly built up my portfolio! I'm always trying to improve and learn more, but one thing always remains constant: my focus on the human behind the computer.

Outside of my work, I enjoy drawing, gaming, reading, and pretty much any other cozy hobby you could think of (you could call me a bit of a hobby hoarder). I love collecting mini things and have a plushy collection that had a suitcase of its own when I moved. I recently moved to Washington and have been loving exploring coffee shops, taking in the fantasy-like scenery, and trying all the food there is to offer.
